VENDOR RAVE: GEORGETTES in Hicksvile!!

Hi Girls, I very rarely post but this was a must post!!! They are fast and awesome at Georgettes, I walked in and they looked at me and basically said what your wearing is all wrong... I went in wearing a 34B and walked out wearing a 32 D I had no idea how off I was... I guess they are experts.... anyways I actually went in there for my bridal undergarment and that was also a huge success !! they really did a great Job fitting me, andI was comfortable the whole time. I left feeling pleased but at the same time wondering if the bras will hold up because they are just whatever brands, not store brands like Im used to. anyone have any experience with their Bras ?

Ah thanks for the info! I have been trying to figure out where I am going to get my undergarment for the wedding. I am huge on top, like 34DD! Did they have a large selection?

Yes, I warn you its old fashion everything is in boxes and you ask for it , and they find it!! Great for sizes!! I never thought I was a 32 D and I didnt even know that size existed and they had so much in my size!! Very great store!!

oh and another thing... my boobs now sit at my chin!! lol I never knew they could be so high!

Yes I went there for my Corset for the day of my wedding and she told me the same thing that I am wearing the wronr size...I am a 34D she told me i should be in a 34DD..I bought my Corset from them and I have my 2nd fitting tonight so well see what happends

I think what it is, it that they are oldschool and want the bra to cover the whole boob( ) so what we think fits (with spill over) they view as small... Idk but this bra Ive been wearing since Noon is quite comfy!

ok - no exaggeration - today I am wearing a bra from Georgettes that is 3 years old! So, yes, they hold up great. Better than any other bra - maybe because they actually are the right size?

I love them! Been going there since I needed a bra for my prom dress - back in 1985!!

Nope - but there's like 2 little old ladies that work there so you may wait a bit. Also, be prepared to be felt up a little bit. It's worth it though - the girls look absolutely amazing under clothes!

It reminds me of the wand shop in Harry Potter though. Everything is just in boxes, you don't really get to pick things out, they tell you what you need and then if you don't like what they pick you can say 'I want a thinner strap' etc.

Ah, I just called! I am going to go there at 10AM on Saturday. I'll try to get there first thing so I don't have to wait.

Thanks for the advice girls! I think I am going to get some everyday bras too because I literally only have 2 bras...
