Vendor Rave- La Belle Voix (opera singer accompanied by harpist and violinist)
My wedding was yesterday and wow, what an amazing day! I'll write a more complete review of the day and all my vendors once I have a chance, but I particularly wanted to write a rave review for the singer and musicians who provided my ceremony music- La Belle Voix. Wow, Jama Jandrovic (soprano) has the most beautiful voice! I read about on her gigmasters.com and once I heard her voice on
labellevoix.com, I knew I had to have her sing at my wedding! I didn't meet up with her beforehand; I went with what I heard on her site and the really good reviews on gigmaster. We arranged everything via email (though I'm sure she would've met with me if I wanted her to and she did offer to speak to me over the phone but I just wanted to do everything via email). She has a very full repertoire that you can choose from. She also did a special request for us- 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' during the ceremony (made famous by Roberta Flack). It was beyond beautiful. It was so touching... and made me think of the first time I ever laid eyes on my husband (husband! ah!). Everybody RAVED about her. I've never heard of anyone else having an opera singer at their wedding... I hope I start a trend! Check them out on gigmasters and on her site. You will not be sorry! She was so accommodating and sweet in all the correspondence we had. The harpist and violinist were wonderful, too. I think it adds such a beautiful and classy touch.
