Vendor Rave: My Daughter's Wedding for MOB Dresses!!!
So my mom was terrified about getting a MOB dress...she's kinda insecure even though she's SMOKIN' for her age. I had to finally drag her to go to My Daughter's Wedding III in Great Neck on Friday because I wanted to help and I'm leaving soon.
Well, it was AWESOME! They had so many great dresses there. We went in with absolutely no idea---my poor mom didn't even know if she wanted an A-line or a ball gown. Olga helped us, she's a super sweet girl and you should def. ask for her if you go there. She pulled out so many dresses and the one that my mom fell in love with was one of those! I don't even know if we would have noticed it if she hadn't pulled it for us.
She was so good with trying everything on, incredibly patient even though we had like 15 dresses, lol. My mom was super uncomfortable about being in her undies around even her daughters (like I said, she's insecure) but Olga was just so nice my mom quickly got over it. She ended up getting this gorgeous Jovani dress...the only thing I'm pissed at is that I didn't take a picture and I can't seem to find the exact design online!
Just wanted to let ppl know to check this place out--I know I was clueless at first where to go for MOB dresses, but we live right by Great Neck and we had driven past it a million times, so there you go!

Do you know if they have bigger sizes to try on?
My moms boobs are HUGE and all the dresses she has tried on she couldn't get zipped up or even over her chest. She doesn't want to order a dress until she sees what it looks like on so we need to find a place that carries size 12, 14 or so that can get over her chest.

Yah! Thanks... My mom and I are going MOB shopping next weekend. Maybe we'll check that place out!

Queen of Hearts in Merrick does. That's where my mom has gone for years! For my brothers' wedding & now mine! She loves them there! Their sizes start at 14!

My mom bought her dress for my brother's wedding at Queen of Hearts. They had nice stuff, but she's saying she wants to have her dress made this time. It works out to be the same price.

My mom has fairly large boobs too, lol. She ended up getting a size 12 and all of the samples were larger on her.

Oh good! I'm so glad! My mom loves them there! The same women have worked there forever & they remembered my mom from my brothers' wedding 3 years ago!
