Vendor Rave: Pastor April Gismondi

I am the first to say that I'm a tough critic, and that most of my vendors have not gone 'above and beyond'. Well, yesterday I had a meeting with our officiant, Pastor April (a vendor on these boards) and our DOC at Capitale. I just wanted to go over the ceremony and feel more comfortable with the flow of things.

Pastor April is so professional, organized, and confident. She is such a pleasure to work with, and she also took an hour train into Manhattan to meet with us. When I asked her about reimbursement for travel, she said that is totally up to me and she never asks for that kind of thing. I don't know girls, she is just genuinely interested in Jeremy and I and the ceremony and what it means to us. It's so refreshing to have a vendor that puts us before the $$$.

Definitely check her out if you need an officiant that specializes in 'non-traditional' ceremonies.

I love love love Pastor Grismondi. I am so glad i choose here. She is so sweet. U and I made a great choice.

She's doing our wedding in October, and the communication, enthusiasm, and love from her have been outstanding so far. I can't wait to have her perform our ceremony!

I second that! She really is an awsome woman to deal with. I have full faith in her making our ceremony memorable.. she has already gone above and beyond by making us a personel ceremony after only an hour of chit chat (even made me cry!! her readings were so beautiful)
I can't wait till im crying like a baby on my wedding day cause of her words

oh, we definitely are. I have no problem with 'tipping' someone that earns it....it's the tipping of the vendors that have done nothing except the bare minimum that irks me.

We had her booked until a friend of FH said that he would do the ceremony. Pastor April is an amazing person!!!!!! She sat with FH and I for more than an hour the first time and emailed us the next day of what possibly could be our ceremony words. Would HIGHLY recomend her.
