Vendor Raves and got my invites!
We went to Proper Papers in Plainview yesterday (how's that for alliteration??) and bought our invitations..the owner there is amazing, knows her stuff, and discounts out of the books...we are using ivory paper with these and brown lettering with our names and a small picture of a leaf in green...I'm excited..now people are going to come to the wedding, since we are inviting them..haha!! (can't get a pic to copy and paste...I'm an LIW picture moron sometimes..haha)

ANOTHER RAVE-ISH Mom and I went to Mary's corsetiere (spelling?) this week (I swear, I drove out to Plainview 3 days in a row!!) and we waiting an hour because we both have cats and one fitter is allergic..place was empty, however..if you have patience to wait, however, they do fit you well and do any necessary alterations on the spot, which is nice...
YET ANOTHER RAVITY Naturalizer shoes....not just for your grandma!! I tried my vintage-y looking shoes there and they are comfy with grip on the front bottom of the shoes to avoid slippage..mine are peeptoe, I had a coupon at the time for the online site, and am excited they are not dyables..let's see if I feel the same after the dress is hemmed (the other thing I like is that if I don't, and haven't worn them out, I can return them) now I have to figure out how to have something on my feet without covering my toes for the peeptoe ('cause that would be grandma!!)
