Vendor Raves - My sister's bachelorette
Hi ladies. On Saturday we had my sister's bachelorette party. It was great, and I wanted to share some info with you.
I got all of the bachelorette party decorations and games at bachelorette.com and bachelorettepartyfun.com. Both places had so many things to choose from, and both boxes came within 2 weeks.
We went to Tony's DiNapoli in midtown for dinner. I am so glad we went there. Our waiter, Vincenzo, was the best. He was so funny and really just on the ball with everything. He obliged us in takin dozens of photos, and helped us choose some great things off the menu. The owner even came over to our table twice to see if we were having a good time. The food was great, as was the service.
We went to 2 clubs - Touch and Branch. These were more like lounges because they were so small. Touch was OK at the beginning but as the night went on, it got more and more crowded and the crowd was rude. I'm not into the whole club scene but some group of girls dancing next to us kept trying to start something. So, we went to Branch which was practically empty but was playing some good music. The only thing I didn't like about branch was they didn't enforce a dress code. Girls were there in jeans and tees, as were the guys.
The best part of the night was the limo, from Showtime Limousines. They are a vendor on this site listed as 'It's Showtime Limos'. . At TWOTY I had won a free 4-hour limo for my bachelorette party from them. Since I'm not getting married until next year, they allowed me to use it for my sister. I dealt with Steve the whole time and he was AMAZING. He was prompt with getting back to me and worked with me throughout the entire booking process. He was just a great guy all around and I was so comfortable with him.
The best part was the price, even without the gift certificate it was still the most reasonably priced place any of us girls had seen. We knew we needed it for more than 4 hours, and the other girls kept trying to give me more money because they thought it should have been at least $30 more per hour in their experience.
The limo came early. We saw him pull up about 15 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive, and he waited outside. At 8:00 exactly, he rang the doorbell. it was great because instead of charging us for coming early, he didn't 'start the clock' until the time we specified in the contract.
The limo was gorgeous! I cannot say enough about it. it was clean, comfortable, and had amazing neon on the inside. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, and filled the bar with water and 2 other types of alcohol in decanturs. We didn't drink them so I am not sure what it was.
The absolute best thing was our driver Jason. He was so great, and fun, and just the best! I cannot say enough about him. When we got to the clubs, he told us to wait in the limo while he talked to the guy at the door to make sure we would get in with no hassle. And then he waited to make sure we did get in. And when we left he ALWAYS took a head count to make sure we were all there.
Seriously, he just made the night a million times better. I cannot wait to book my wedding with them and request Jason as my driver because they were really just so professional and amazing.
