Hi ladies! FH and I were talking budget last night (always a fun convo!) and the topic of tax came up. Which of your vendors are charging you tax?
So far I only have booked my DJ and they are not charging any.

Our DJ, Floriest and photographer are not charging us tax Thank the lord! Alittle savings some where!

I'm not paying tax for any vendor yet. I heard DJs should never charge you tax b/c they're entertainment ( a few DJ companies explained this to me). All other vendors didn't charge tax if we offered to pay with cash, so we did! All that tax definitely adds up!

So far, just our Venue. We paid cash for photographer, no tax on DJ or limos.

No taxes on DJ or some limos (hummer, buses).
Everything else you can negotiate with the vendor if you pay cash.

so far no one! :) got the tax off my venue (a nice 4k savings! LOL) the photographer we plan on using also wont be charging us tax :)

The venue and photographer are charging tax. But our photographer told us if we pay in cash, we won't have to pay for tax.
