Vendor Tipping Advice-Help

Is it necessary to tip your photographer & video guy the night of the wedding? I’m reading over our contract & it doesn’t state that tip is included. I wasn’t sure if we have to tip them or not.

And how about the DJ & MC do we need to tip them as well?

What’s a normal tipping range for these vendors? Thanks in advance ladies!!!

Yes, you need to tip the photographer, videographer, DJ, and MC the night of the wedding if gratuity isn't included in your contract. If one of these people is the owner of the business, you don't necessarily have to tip that person.

I've read in a few spots (websites, etiquette books, etc) that $25 - $50 per person is pretty good. We're on a tight budget, so each of those guys is getting $25 and we'll bring a little extra with us just in case anyone goes above & beyond that day HTH

Photographer / video / DJs -- I'd plan to tip $50-100 per person, based on what you can afford, the value of the contract, and the service you got.

Remember, you still have to keep dealing with the photographer after the wedding day...
