I am actually in the process of researching them! I haven't settled on anything yet! Ladies, any suggestions on what I should be concentrating on first! Any suggestions? I just don't want this to turn into a nightmare situation! In terms of booking vendors, what should be my first priority? I would love any suggestions, I know it is personal preference but I really need to know the vendors that get booked up first and where I should start! At this point, all vendors are extremely important! I can't decide where to start! Any suggestions?

I would start out with band/dj, video, and photographer. If your interested in a band look into Renegade from LI Paramount(516-932-2263) They are amazing. Video look into Motion Pictures-631-851-2000. For a photographer we are using Marquee Photography-516-349-9319. Patken is very good. A friend of mine used them. Also Paul Marino is excellent. Hope this helps.

Video, photo grapher and musicians were the main things I wanted to focus on..I think because they take the most time..I wound up using Wild Rose for video and Patken for Photography, now Im just trying to get my ceremony musicians booked by the end of this week. You'll feel like a big weight has been lifted when you get these vendors booked..atleast I did...there are alot of great vendors out there to choose from..I definately did my research to find the very bets for my price range..I actually was able to even go below budget by 1400 for Photography by using Patken..their prices were unbelievable and their pictures were great..so we are off to great start!! Have fun!! Have you booked yoru makeup artist yet? I know taht she seems minor, but I know that people like Jacqueline Nicole books up quick, she does one wedding per day..so if someone has your same wedding day, they may grab her. Good luck!!

Thanks ladies for the feedback. Photo and video is important to me as well. For some reason, I have been focussing a lot on florists. Another issue I have is that I have not finalized the church yet, but I know I have to get going with vendors! Does it really matter to vendors if you cannot give them a definite ceremony time? Just curious. Thanks for the help!
