So im seeing vendors already and i been to alot of places and now im just getting so sick of it already...i just really want to be done with it ...but how many vendors did you see b/c picking them??

if you find a vendor you like, you can book them on the spot (but i'd def do some price comparing first)

i tried not to make myself crazy comparing too many vendors just like 3 or 4 before choosing and i definitley made it a priority to get some questions such as where they would fit with my budget answered via phone before i went to meet with them, theres nothing i hate worse than wasting time

Photographer: 2 vendors Bands: 3 - the only reason we saw the 3rd band was b/c the band-leader came to us! Florist: 1 Videographer: 1
We had no problem booking on the spot - or atleast going home and discussing and then booking!
We were not into going to a ton of appointments, either. We felt that if they were willing to give us what we wanted for the price we wanted, why not book them???

I went to about 5 florists, called up a bunch of DJs over the phone to compare prices, and other places mostly 2 or 3. Basically I just wanted to get a feel for the prices and saw what was the better deal. There are so many vendors out there dont make yourself crazy over it!

photographer: 2 videographer: 1 (family friend) DJ: 1 (we saw him at our friend's wedding and knew we wanted him) Hotels: FML 5 and still annoying me!

I went to a few of each mostly house vendors and then I compared prices...the only vendor I didn't shop around for was flowers

We (and by we, I mean I) did a lot of online research to figure out what my priorities were in a vendor. That way I was able to narrow down based on that and recommendations and price who I wanted to visit.
So halls, I went to 10.
Photo/Video, I went to 3.
DJ, 2
Limos, 3
Florists, 2

Yea b/c florist i want to 3 dj will be two on sunday photo/video-2 limos-2
and the FH still wants to shop around and im sick of it..he is one of those who has to be in control and its drive me nuts ...it takes him a year ( and im not kidding) to pick out shoes ....and yes i said shoes...i just want to get it over and done with and he is like i want to see more....i just feel like the vendors that we did see answered my questions and are within your price range ...

I did a lot of my research reading reviews & recommendations & emailing/calling before I actually met with any of the vendors to narrow it down.
Photographer - We only met with 1 in their office & they were the ones we booked :) We met a lot at showcases but not enough to actually want them in consideration.
Florist - We met with 2 & booked the 2nd one on the spot.
DJ - We met with 2 & booked with the 2nd ones we met & also met with A LOT of them at showcases.
