Vendors

Now that I have a venue I think my next steps are photography/video and DJ. I'm looking to spend 1000 to 2000 on photography and video. For the DJ 1000ish. Are these prices possible? Please give me your opinions and I will do some research. Thanks!

Re: Vendors

Don't have a photographer yet, but I got quotes of $5000 and $6700 for photographer/videographer vendors, and the DJs quoted me $3200 and $2500 for DJ/MC plus one live percussionist. This is just for your reference. I'm sure that if you ask for a smaller deal, they'll work with you.

Even though I didn't go with them, check out Parties Alive DJ, they had very reasonable prices and Rich was pretty accommodating.

Re: Vendors

My DJ is under 1000 if you chose the most basic package.

Vinny from High Voltage Sounds, hes great, I've seen him at 2 weddings so far!

That budget with photo/video is going to be tough...I would say try to find someone who will just photograph and give you a disc, so you can make your own albums. I've never really heard of video being under 2k but its worth looking.

If your budget is flexible, check out Fade to Black.

Re: Vendors

Check out Lighthouse Photography. I hear they have good reasonable prices.

Videography = Gt Modern Creations - gives you a lot. Package is VERY reasonable and under $2000.

Re: Vendors

You may not be able to get edited video within that budget, but photography definatley. My photographer really worked with my budget, and I was able to get photo and video for not toooo much more than yours. You can fm me for info if you'd like.
