Does anyone else feel the need to just say 'hi' to kinda stay in touch??? I booked my band and photographer in October and haven't heard from them since - and they have had no need to contact me - but I feel like I want to just drop them a note so I can stay at the top of their mind ... feel like maybe they might forget about my wedding???? Is this completely strange????

Re: Vendors booked a while ago
i booked my vendors last December and didn't contact them until this past month. Seems like they could care to hear from you and get annoyed. They said you will hear from us in the new year (my wedding is three months away) so i would say just wait until your three months till marker and say hello then.

Re: Vendors booked a while ago
booked all my vendors the end of last year and the beginning of this year. ive only had a small amount of contact with photo, DOC, RH, florist, dj and limo. But that was because of changes, appointments, etc. I havent spoken to or heard from my videographer since I booked him in Feb. Just havent had a need to.

I feel the same way too! I try to think of stupid questions to ask once in a while so that I can call and remind them.

I usually drop my florist a line...actually I should start calling my vendors and arranging the finals

That is so cute! I was actually thinking of dropping my band's leader an email after christmas to say have a great new year! (he is jewish I think, last name is anyhow, so I missed hanukkah ... )
Guess I could do the same with Duet, but I am not concerned about them really, just the band. :)

HAHA, good point. FH mentioned about our videographer the other day since we booked through our photographer. I just get annoyed with FH that he wants me to do it. I'm busy enough!

No not at all. But the best way to really feel secured with your vendor is give them a call and another payment.

Re: Vendors booked a while ago
My photographer and videographer each sent us a christmas card...I was planning to send them each a card as a sorta 'reminder' I'm here, but they beat me to it. I thought that was really nice of them.
