Vendors Liability Insurance??

Vendors Liability Insurance??

When I signed my contract, my RH told me that all the vendors that would be entering their premises on my wedding needed to have $1 million liability insurance. I'm just wondering if all RH have a liability insurance requirement that is so high!!!

$1 million is standard.

ETA - Any legitimate vendor will have at least $1 million in insurance. You shouldn't have any problems with your vendors having enough insurance.

Thanks for your response. I'm pretty sure my music & photo/video vendors have this much since they have worked at my RH in the past. My problem is my florist----using a family member's shop and he only has a couple hundred thousand (didn't give me the exact figure---grrrrrr).

I just spoke with my BM this a.m. and he said that florists need to have the insurance because the vases might break/explode or the pedestal centerpieces might tip over.

Maybe if you are DIY, they won't be as elaborate as the CPs they are safeguarding themselves against. That's a good question to ask your BM. I don't think I could sneak that by my BM at this point since he's aware of the liability insurance with one of my vendors.
