Which ones haven't you booked??

I feel like I see less and less topics re: vendor checks........... or are we just taking a break??

ugh... we have only booked the venue and caterer (which comes with the venue) and hair. Oh yeah, my mom and I have our dresses. We are in the process of dealing with the band, next up is flowers. I've also been in contact with a makeup artist, we said we'd schedule a trial in the new year.

ashley, i booked the hampton inn jericho-westbury for my room block. it's $139 per night and that includes breakfast and a shuttle - rooms sleep up to 6 people - it's clean and new (only opened about a year ago i think).

a little further from some of the other hotels, but IMO it's nicer. HTH!

I booked my hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Plainview, for $129 with no shuttle...did you have to negotiate a shuttle or it was thrown in? Maybe i'll change/add that one also

Um, all of them. (Except flowers)

I am a floral designer (home-based), and actually have my business on the 'waiting list' to be an LIW vendor, but I'd be glad to help if you're not sure what to choose / ask / look out for while planning yours... I know I'll be asking about everything else!

I'm pretty much done with the MAJOR vendors...now the little things begin to add up. I made a list of the little things and already I'm up to 27 things that need to get taken care of...OH BOY

Still have to find a DJ and the hotel block (which I tried to do yesterday but they said call back Monday)

After reading every one elses posts I realized I still have to book MUA, Hair, get DOJ, & order my dress (but I need to get shoes before i can order) Ahhhh so much to do!!

I still need tuxedos (going tomorrow)
and limos (saw one vendor, but going to another next week)

And umm..need to finalize invitations
need to get favors, BP gifts, all the little things.
ETA: I also need DOJ, undergarments, and a headpiece.
