Has anyone been to a wedding, or visited, the Venetian Yacht Club? I am thinking about having my reception there.

I have not attended a wedding there but went to see it when we were searching for a hall. It was really pretty... but our heart was set on Watermill.
Do a search on Brides Review, that might help you.

We were actually thinking of there too but it is literally like 5 minutes from where we live and we wanted something a little different. It is beautiful though

It is very beautiful there with a gorgeous view..The menu was good it was just too far for our guests...

good luck on saturday!!! the whole staff are amazing! the rooms are beautiful & the view is breath taking

Went to VYC today, liked it alot but was unsure about the cocktail room since it was not set up for a party and invisioning 160 people in that room and outside was hard. SO I am having a hard time choosing between Watermill and VYC. HOw does VYC keep 2 parties seperated? Where can you take pics there if its raining? Yep I think I may be over analysing things a bit .Am I alone ???

I think they just keep one upstairs and one downstairs....
I don't know where you'd take pics if it rains...

That's where I'm getting married. It's 100% perfect but obviously I biased Just FM if you have any questions or do a search for the Official VYC Thread on the BHB board!

I got married there. There was another wedding going on and I never knew. I had the big downstairs room and outside for the coctail hour and upstairs for the reception.
People are still complementing the place and food almost a yeat later.
I dont have one negative comment.

I went to a wedding there...it's great it's on the water which is gorgeous ...I don't remember the food unfortunately I just remember some really good dirty martinis lol my first!

One of Lee's Employees got engaged in March and booked Venetian for September!!!!!
I am sooooooooooo looking forward to being a guest there, i can not wait!!!!
Which room are you having? She is debating about using the bigger room upstairs
