I emailed a bunch of times to set up an appointment to go by, and have even called. Every time I call i'm told none of the BM's are available and 'someone will have to call me later'
except i get no phone calls.
I''m 99% sure on Jericho Terrace, but I really wanted to check out VYC before i make my final decision. Except this bullsh*t is making me reconsider checking them out.

if this is the same response you always get and they never call back, i would be wary and not use them! they will be just as unresponsive if you book them and actually need them during the wedding planning and the day of!

I'd call one more time and if they tell you that again, tel the person on the phone that you need to speak to someone, ANYONE, NOW because you've called 197369 times just to make an appointment, you're really interested in booking, but you're tired of the nonsense and are about to give up and take your business elsewhere as you relay this info to 600 other brides online.. I'm sure you'll get someone.

don't bother with them-
if they don't even have the decency to call, spend your money on a place that cares.
you deserve the best on your wedding day and it's bad business not to call a customer back.
You should book with Jericho terrace and then send the management at the yacht club a letter expressing your unsatisfactory treatment.
They should know exactly why they lost your business.

My point was that people answering the phones can be rude and it's not a fair reflection on the place... so give them a shot and if they're still rude, then your decision has been made, KWIM?

I had a simliar problem w/ the Riviera (where I am now having my wedding).
I e-mailed and called numerous times - never got someone on the phone to talk to and left messages (at least 3 times). Then I made one last phone call to find out the date we originally wanted was booked.
We made a meeting anyway - ended up switching the date b/c we loved the place and have been happy ever since, no regrets at all.
When you have a feeling - you just have a feeling. If you really want to check it out - dont give up... if anything, i would just go one day w/out and appointment.

thanks girls. i just have a shady feeling about them now. I think im just gonna go with Jericho Terrace, They've been very responsive and just amazing so far.

LOL, anyway, if you're comparing everything to JT and this was the only other place that you wanted to check to compare and they're being douche b*tches, then your decision is made. Let us know when you're booked!

lmao thanks i will. We're gonna book on sunday. We just wanted to look at one more place before we did so we knew our choice was the right one. not that i ever had any doubts lol

My uncle had his wedding their last june. It was a great wedding the place is really nice. The service was great. The food was really good.

honestly I wouldn't bother. If they can't call you back to get your business what do you think it's going to be like when you book your wedding. I looked there and JT. I would go with JT. VYC is nice because it's right on the water. But I think the rooms are laid out better at JT, they look bigger JMO
