Hello ladies, 2011er has a question......anyone that had or is having their wedding at the Venetian Yacht Club please help me. Did you take pics at VYC w/ family and wedding party or did you go somewhere else before you went there? I dont know what to do.....I dont know if im gonna have enough time in between church and cocktail to go somewhere before we get to VYC. Can you please post pics of you took pics at VYC? Please help me!!!!

we got married at the VYC, so we took pics beforehand at the gazebos in Brightwaters and on Main Street in Babylon. When we arrived at the VYC, we took pics with our family and BP in their outdoor area. how much time do you have in between the church and CH?

Church is at 4pm in Malverne and we're doing a full mass. my biggest concern is the traffic. Its a friday night. Im just trying to decide if i wanna go somewhere beforehand to take pics w/ family and BP. I just don't remember if there's anywhere at VYC to take pics besides the outside patio that overlooks the water. CH starts at 7pm.

We took photos at church, then went to old westbury gardens and then to VYC to take photos. we took photos on the water actually in the parking lot with the bridge in the backround and it looked amazing. and some family photos outside of cocktail hour with the water in the background. you can get some really amazing photos out there.

you can take pics outside on that patio, inside the lobby area, or by the dock in the parking lot like the above poster said. if you want to get the best pics, it's probably better to take pics beforehand so that you'll have extra time and won't feel rushed.

you can take pics at argyle lake..... literally up the rad from VYC and a popular wedding photo spot!! HTH

Thanks ladies! I was thinking about going to Argyle Lake Park, but when I mention it to people, they say that it needs to be painted and it doesn't look like its been taken care of. I'm gonna go there on thursday and check it out. But I think that I might just go straight to VYC. I forgot about outside in the parking lot overlooking the water. Thanks again girls! i am going to a wedding there at the end of october where they are doing the ceremony there. I have never been but I def will give a mini review
