Venetian Yacht Club Info?

I'm looking for info on the VYC (reviews, price range, etc.). I want to make an appointment to see the venue, but I'm afraid to fall in love with it and then get hit with a quote MUCH larger than I can afford!

I may be biased as this is my venue but I love everything about it. Granted I didn't have my wedding yet but they worked with me on prices. The more you guarantee the more flexible they said they can be with price. Besides how much we LOVED the space it was the most cost efficient for us. But important to remember is that we are getting married in January on the Sunday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day So we got winter Sunday late afternoon and high head count guarantee (200) prices but it acts slightly like a Saturday late afternoon as the next day most people have off.

They are really reasonable. We're going to book there, I think. The view and rooms are beautiful. We got them to give us the big room even if we don't have the minimum. The only thing that annoyed me was how long they made me wait. We went last year and again this year (after thatched cottage went in the dumps) and both times they made us wait so long. Last year, no one even met with us, the hostess at the front showed us around. This time we waited almost an hour in the lobby.

The chef makes amazing sculptures out of fruit and they give a lot of food options for the price. I know my husband really likes it and when our stuff gets settled with thatched, were probably going to book. I'll FM you the prices I received.
