has anyone looked at this place? We went there tonight and they showed us all of the renovations that are planned and those that are already inprogress. It looks like its going to be gorgeous. But the part that makes me nervous is that it isn't done yet. We really liked it but its risky to book.

Well you do have over a year so I don't think it would be that bad. My hall was doing renovations and they are already finished ( I think). Also remember that people may already have booked sooner than your wedding and that they would have to be somewhat done with it.

friend had wedding there this past july... it was a beautiful place... some things i didnt love, i wouldnt be concerned with the renovations since you have a little less than 2 years, it should be done, but if you ask they should have a time frame for you

I looked there a couple of months ago. The look of the place is very nice. I really liked it a lot. I did not like the woman I met with at all! She was so rude! ugh.... Just hated her.
Anyway I really didnt like that they didnt do food tastings & no expos. I don't understand that. JMO

The Venetian is gorgeous ! My best friend is getting married there in july of 2006. All of the renovations will be done by the time she has her wedding so you will be fine if you book their for your wedding date. I understand your concern, but you really need not to worry!
