I am booked with them as of right now - I love them - I do and Bill reassured me after a few concerns from the wedding of the year but I just found out that my dream place might be affordable

My dream place is Bridgewaters in NYC - for a Friday its actually the same price we are paying at the VYC on a Saturday - who knew?
My concerns were minimal but it all had to do with the wedding of the year - table size - we were tight but they don't use those tables at weddings. And also the service but since it was a donated event they doubled up on servers - all things no bride has to worry about.
If for any reason Bridgewaters doesn't work out I'm staying put at VYC - I'm very happy with them and Bill goes above and beyond to please his brides.

Do you know anything about the late dinner issues? I saw on here that a few people were saying that was a negative about VYC.

My brother's wedding was at the VYC and for all of you brides, you really have nothing to worry about. His wedding was amazing. Nothing went wrong and the food & service was excellent!! The only reason I didn't get married there was because I didn't want the same place as my brother. It is really a beautiful wedding. Congrats

we booked VYC!! April 5th 2009!! woohoo :) - i went and cheked out a bunch of RH before my FH went with me to check out any - i didnt feel that i was treated that well at any of them. I met Giulio at VYC and he treated me like such a princess - i must say that i absolutely loved it! and if they will put that much attention into you on just a tour i was anticipating great things to come!!

we booked our DJ (not on the recommended lists) - he was Spin Around Sound - Tom White - FM me for details if your interested in checking him out - AMAZING guy and prices were sooo cheap :) - also for flowers we used Flowers by Burton - they are a wholesaler with such talent - so you pay the same price for whatever type of flowers - your not paying more because they are lilies or anything like that - we did everything - and believe me i went flower crazy for under $2k - the photographer - again we did not use recommended vendors - we used Golden Moments - i really liked the work they did for the WOTY - and their site really shows you alot of the work they do - i believe it GMDSNY.com - check it out ![]()
