Venetian Yacht Club/John Anthony's
For those of you whom have booked at VYC/JA, my concerns are:
-my reception is on the second floor and the only outside space that my guests have is a small patio with stairs leading to a large area below. I was told that my guests were not permitted to go down the stairs. It seems unfair that the reception on the first floor has access to all of the outside area below. I don't want any possibility for contention between guests of both weddings.
-Next, any recommendations for pictures if it rains. I would not want my wedding pictures to resemble posed, indoor 'prom' pictures.
-Also, I spied on a wedding (from the dock area) last May and I noticed that there were not many outside tables set up for the cocktail hour. That is why we are having it on the water isn't it? Also, the outside area needed to be painted. I am hoping that will be addressed before I have my wedding there.
