Has anyone visited VYC or Port Jeff CC? I havnt visited these two venues yet but am thinking about it. Does anyone have any information these RHs?
I went to a wedding at Port Jeff CC. It was wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say about it.
I looked at VYC. It was very pretty, and views were gorgeous, but it just didn't give me that 'this is it' feeling. I also wanted a venue that only did one wedding at a time. But their prices were VERY reasonable and the staff seemed really nice. I'd recommend checking it out, especially if you want something on the water.
I checked out VYC... the view was beautiful...but the rest just wasn't for us.
I looked at both. Both had good prices and tons of food to offer...and both have gorgeous views. For me the VYC probably has the better view...I think the room is bigger as well. However, the bridal suite is TINY. But its not like your in their all night. PJCC has amazing food..Lombardis always has an amazing food. The cocktail hour room is really nice...the two things that threw me off, were the bathrooms are downstairs and the hallway you have to walk through to get to the CH room. Both places are beautiful and similar. However, I was going for a different type of style so it wasn't for us.
Im getting married at the VYC!! it is goregous! the prices were soo reasonable for everything that is included! staff is amazing from what i have delt with so far! It has a very elegant classy feel throughout the whole place!!
