Vent!!!

My FBIL (FH's brother) - who is his best man - just had the nerve to call me and tell me that he didn't have time to plan his brother's bachelor party because of work and having a family. He wants me to call his friends and see who wants to plan it now - because I have time, right???
I really felt like saying - you know - if you don't want to be best man - that's ok too - I wonder if he'll try to get out of making a speech?? I am really pissed off and disappointed in him. Mind you - when he needs something from FH - FH is always there for him. I am really disgusted!!!

I feel so bad for your FH Everyone is busy and has hectic lives - how much would it take to say call a bunch of people and say hey, let's go here on this date.

I sort of threw it back at him and gave him my brother's # (who is one of the GM) because I know that FH spoke to my bro about it.
I do feel bad for FH because that is so ridiculous - I would love to tell him what a jerk his brother is being but I don't want to do that to him. I am going to say something to their dad though because I need to speak to him about wedding stuff tonight anyway.
Meanwhile - FH decided that we were going to take special pics of his brother and his family since they are in the wedding and order them one of those really nice portfolios of pictures from the photographer.

i can relate my dh best man wasnt 'allowed' to plan the bachelor party because his fiance then now wife wouldnt let him and by the time the rest of the bridal party found out it was too late so he didnt even have one. i felt so bad that i called some of his friends and they took him out after the wedding. i think so people are just so selfish. how di dyou first fitting go? how beautifful did you look

I think his brother is being really selfish, but I would probably help him plan the bachelor party of find someone to plan it because your FH shouldn't miss out because his brother s^cks. I'm certainy not making excuses, but at least his brother is making an effort to make sure something is planned even if he's not willing to do it himself.
