Vent

I am sooo upset.. I booked my cateing hall they showed me two rooms one for the cockail hour and one for the reception they actually asked me the number of guests and suggested two rooms for my reception then showed me antoher room for my cocktail hour and they told me how it would be set up.it was not until I went to do a final the other day that I made mention as to how I want my cocktail room set up that the mgr of the finals told me he was not aware of my having this room .... I could smell the shade so of course I contacted my banquet mgr and he calls me yesterday acting oblivious.. as if he had no idea that we discussed that specific room for the CH our parents remembered the discussion and my fiancee and now he is saying he has to talk to the general mgr as the room is booked he will see what he can dooo.. I am sooooooooo upset... sorry to vent but my wedding is right around the corner and I am extremely dissappointed. am I over reacting?

Of course you're not overreacting. They have to work with you, and if they absolutely can't follow through, then you should make arrangements for them to throw certain things your way (freebies, less $pp) for your trouble.

We're at the same hall, right? If so, I hope that things get squared off... I'm going for the finalization today, too. I will definitely find out if they did the same for us.

OMG!!!!!!!! I would be so upset.. that is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I would be so upset, I hope they are going to do their hardest to help you. They should be kissing your feet right now, and are you overreacting.. NOT AT ALL.. I would be furious.. Who was the hall?? GOOD LUCK
