Vent...

OMG! Vent away!!! I would be completely and totally furious too!

Whoa...your FMIL is wearing IVORY!!!!! I would ignore her. It seems like she feels like this is her wedding. Just roll with the punches. I know it's easier said then done. I feel you.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that your FMIL is being such a PITA!! I think you're incredibly patient, though, the way you're letting things roll off of your back. Please vent away, we are all here to listen!

BTW, you're getting married on my birthday!

Since we are venting... we got the proof from out invites and forwarded them on to my fmil on monday. Today, 6 days later, she sends a reply that she doesnt like the wording because i do not have my fh's last name, i just have his first and middle, then son of mrs so and so. She is upset because the guests wont know who to make the gifts out to. First of all, i was only sending her the proof to be nice, second of all i told her to send it back to us by wednesday, third if all she really has no say. (My parents are paying for everything). So I nicely emailed her back telling her that I chose the wording based on a sample, and that if their are guests who wont know the grooms last name then they shouldnt be on her guest list since the groom is her son.
-by the way this is after she told me she doesnt like the florist i chose, that i registered at macys, the DJ i chose, the fact that i have a videographer (I should pay a friend to shoot it and edit it my self), or where we are going on our honeymoon (Mexico). She has had a complaint about everything, and she livs 3000 miles away! THe honeymoon plans have gotten so bad with her that she sends me emails of trips that we can go, ironically all through arizona where she lives. I finally registered at fortunoff to make her happy and she went and bought two thirds of the registry, but i was registering at fortuneoff for her because her family thought it was easier, but not when there is nothing left on in.
I just cant wait until the wedding is over so i do not have to listen to her anymore, and her email adress is being blocked from my account!

Woa.....this woman has issues way passed tuxes. Goodness, she needs to cut off that umbilical chord quickly or she's in for a rude awakening. I'm so sorry!

Forget Bridezillas- why isn't there a show called 'Monster in Laws'. These two would be my first pics. Sorry to hear this ladies. It stinks. But hang in there. It sounds like you're keeping it together. Good luck.
