So I finally got a quote from the Courtyard Marriott for rooms in November. $199 per night. How is this possible? No offense but what the heck is so special about Farmingdale and what flights fly in other than private ones? Best Western in Massapequa is only $112 but no shuttle.

I can't force my OOT guests to pay $200 a night when some are staying TWO nights

What about getting a quote for a shuttle van?

Have you looked into the Huntington Hilton or the Melville Marriot? Both on Rt 110

Those two hotels seem so far from Massapequa. I think that's the problem. There are like NO decent hotels near the wedding hall. Ugh. I am concerned because the OOT guests will get lost and I don't want to have them driving far or whatever.

I am on the hunt for a shuttle van..I'll let you know what I find. To get the $112 you have to ask for military/government discount. Don't forget that. If I have no plans that night you can just rent me a van and I'll shuttle people for you or I can just throw them in the back of the Altima

I booked the Huntington Hilton in July for $159. I had to fight to get that rate. They only gave it to me because I signed a contract for 40 rooms and I am responsible for 85% if people do not book. The going rate is over $220 now!

Yes, we booked with Danielle. I think the rate is so high because of the time. Also, when we were booking last July, they told us half of the hotel was sold out already. Just checked online and a room with 2 double beds is $239 and a king is $259.

Did you try the Holiday Inn in Plainview? Or the Four Points Sheraton?

Try FMing MSeed. She's getting married the week before you at the Riviera and I think she blocked out somewhere.
