Please don’t quote, I’m going to delete soon in case of lurkers, but just need to vent…I feel like NO ONE in my life (outside of LIW) gives a crap about my wedding…I know that we have a ways to go, but no one talks about it with me, except for my mom and of course FH… None of my friends are reaching out to me and I feel so upset about it…Maybe it’s just PMS or maybe I expect to much from people, but this is just what I’m feeling…

I find the same thing - I think it's b/c 95% of my friends are already married. Is that the case with you also?

I feel the same way, although my friends usually ask me about it and FH's family. However,My family doesnt ask me anything about the wedding...... .

Some of my friends ask me how it's going and the problem is I want to say so much, but I know they're just asking out of courtesy. In the beginning, like right after we got engaged and then for like 5 months after, felt like no one cared. Now, that I'm asking some people questions and figuring out who to talk to and who not to, I'm feeling a little better.
What's really bad is that I feel like FH doesn't want to talk about it SO much, but he knows he should (and HAS to!).
Good Luck!!! Make sure you pick out the right people to talk to, otherwise you're going to hit a brick wall.

I have to agree with you. My bridal party has not been up for anything my MOH's aren't showing too much interest yet either maybe its too early.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they start showing more interest as it draws nearer. Sometimes people that haven't been married before or gone through the wedding process don't know that less than a year away leaves you with a lot of things to do.

I force my friends to talk about it!!! Some of them having weddings coming up next year too so it's a little easier to bring it up...
