Vent

My aunt is giving me a hard time about moving my third cousins and two family friends (who I don't even speak to) to the B-list. Seriously? My FH lost his job two weeks ago and we are struggling to afford the wedding at this point. We have no choice but to shift our guest list around. And she's giving me a hard time! Unbelievable! Okay, vent over.

tell her that you'll be happy to keep them on the A list if she pays for them.

Tell her that they are more than welcome to come if she would like to cover the expense for them to be there. I dont know where people get off trying to dictate who should be invited to your wedding!

ITA. You can say it in a nice way too. We simply can´t afford it but if you´d be willing to help we´d love tohave them there!! I bet she´ll be quick to put them on the B list then!! And if not and she offers to pay then so be it!!

aww, I'm so sorry. I really wish people could understand how much weddings cost and how difficult it can be now to pay for a wedding.

Oh No!! I am so sorry to hear about your FH's job loss. Hopefully he will find a new job soon, just pray on it. Tell your Aunt to go fly a kite!!! She's not paying, so she need to shut the hell up!!!!

I am sorry, but some people are so inconsiderate.
Both FH and I still have our jobs, but we still find it tough to pay for the wedding. i can definitely relate to what you are going through.
