any of you girls who have a small guest list are you also annoyed that we are limited to a few decent catering halls? =
it is driving me insane for the amount of guests im going to have every place is either to big or squished i give up and we cant cut the list or add we don't have extra people to add and we do not want a destination wedding =[

Re: vent
what location are you looking for? I'm sure you will be able to find something. How many ppl are you having also? If I had a smaller guest list I would try The Snapper Inn in Oakdale
we have a list of 110 and mainly family..every place wants a 100 guarantee which were going to have to do becuase we cant find anything lower for the most part that we like.. but we are going to crestwood manor tomorrow it looks gorgeous and and it looks like what im looking for so crosisng my fingers its in our price range and everything hope all goes well!

Re: vent
That was frustrating for me as well.. my guest list has 125 people on it currently.. I would keep looking and calling places and maybe try negotiating minimums.. im sure you'll find the perfect place.

Snoopy Lobster: on the bridal thread it says you are getting married at Larkfield. Did you change your mind?

My minimum was high but I think Foxhollow has a smaller room and they are very reasonable, not to mention beautiful. Did you try there?

I recommend Fox Hollow's Winter Garden Pavillion. That room is so beautiful! I wish I could cut my guest list in half just to get that room!

Re: vent
I wish my guest list was just 100 people! Thats my side alone! Our guest list is approaching 400 people so far!!! Lord knows i'm cutting it down...i'm guessing 300. But a large party is just as hard to plan as a small one. A lot of places i called (douglaston manor esp) laughed at me for even thinking about having the wedding there...plus i heard CLM wouldnt hold my party either so i didnt even call.
