VENT

The hotel I have my hotel block at is AWFUL. They keep giving me the run around, tell my guests they don't have any rooms available, transfer people a million times, you name it...they do it. I just called now and they don't have my parents or my FIL's in the system for their rooms and they don't have any king bed rooms on my hotel block, even though I have a signed agreement saying I would. I literally went off. I'm going there tomorrow and we will see what happens. I have a whole brunch booked with them the next day, too!

Honestly, they have been nothing but awful. Terrible, terrible customer service. The hotel itself is really nice, but my goodness, the people there are terrible!!!! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any bride. It's just so frustrating because there are not many hotels by my hall.

Could you let me know which hotel this is. I'm hoping it's not the one I'm using b/c I have seen so not so good reviews lately

The hotel itself is really nice. The rooms have been recently renovated, and there is a bar attached to the hotel...very convenient. The staff however are a whole other story.

Right??? I mean, it's a hotel block. How hard can it be????? It's been by far the most stressful part of planning this wedding.

seriously?!?! who would ever think the hotel block of all things would be what is giving you the most problems????????

good luck tomorrow rip 'em a new one and take your business elsewhere if neccessary!! i'd let them know that nothing can make up for their HORRIBLE customer service and you expect to be compensated in some way for all of their mistakes.



p.s. -besides all that, it's definitely not the worst thing in the world and you will work it out

Are you totally locked into this hotel? My hotels are about 20 minutes from the hall, I don't think that you have to book them near the hall.

There really aren't many halls anywhere near my hall that have what I need.

Who have you been working with there? I literally have had so many issues that we have had to go to corporate. They are supposed to be calling me today once they 'fix the issue.' Regardless, I think I need to go there by Sunday to make sure everything is okay. They have been promising me the sun and moon saying things are fixed when they aren't. They need to get their act together.

Oh my gosh, I went to a wedding recently that used this hotel for their block and it was awful!!! FH and I stayed there and they gave us such a difficult time checking in, and booking the room was a horrendous expierence. I do have to say though that the bar there is really nice and the guests all enjoyed hanging out there before, and after the wedding. Sorry you have to deal with all of this aggrivation.

OMGGGG, really?? Blahh seriously I have no idea what to do. We really want to do a post-nuptial breakfast the next day, and there are ZERO close hotels that offer a full/nice breakfast other than this hotel. Also, we loved the bar. Grrr this is so frustrating!!!
