Vent

Just got the phone call....my church is undergoing renovations and won't be done in time for my wedding...started calling around and so many churches do not have my day/time available.

Not only is this a pain now all of my vendors have to be moved (I.e. need to add another hour or so on to my limo, florist, etc)

That's terrible! Which church is it? Such a frustrating bump in the road, but there has to be a church somewhere that will have your date available. Ugh, I am so sorry for you.

So sorry! Ugh... I agree with the above. Not your first pick unfortunately but an option. Good luck finding another church.

The RH idea is def one I'm considering if some of these churches fall through that I've called. I always wanted to walk down the aisle in a church, but I'll have to go with the flow.

the same thing happened to another girl on here; it's probably the same church. So sorry that this happened. if you can't get another church, try setting up a ceremony at your RH. However you would have to get another officiant, since Catholic priests will only marry people in a church.

Have you asked your pastor for help? They are hooked up to all the other pastors in their area. Seems like the church should be helping. If it is not a Catholic church you are seeking, shoot me an FM and I can suggest some churches I know.
