Lately I have been having a hard time. I am an accountant and have been working 55+ hours a week as well as attending school for my masters. FH works mainly overnights and I hardly get to see him. He leaves for work before I get home and he is sleeping when I get up in the morning. I feel like i NEVER get to see him. It is starting to stress me out because not only do I not see him but I barely have a chance to sit down and talk to him about the wedding. I know it will get better once I stop working so much, April 15th can't come soon enough!!! Anyone else in this situation? I guess I just feel a little overwhelmed.
Sorry for the long vent, just stressing out!

Aw, I'm sorry. I'm currently working on my accounting degree so I have yet to experience busy season but my FSIL is a CPA so I have heard some horror stories! But the good news is April 15th is just around the corner. Just a few more weeks and it will be over!!

I'm sorry you feel so stressed!!! I totally understand! I'm an accountant too and this season has been especially crazy for some reason. I can't imagine also attending school!!! I give you lots of credit for that! Just try to keep in mind that it's almost over and the wedding stuff can be on hold for another few weeks. I can't imagine that there's anything that has to be done or decided upon this second. Just focus on your sanity!!!! Good luck!!!

Try to hang in there. Me and my fiance work crazy hours. I am a financial analyst and have been staying late every week and my fiance has been busy at his job. We try to leave each other notes, cards or even text each other because we dont get a change to talk either. When things are really crazy we try to take a personal day with just us and no phones for interruptions.
Things will get better.

I use to be a tax accountant at a big 4, so I know all too well what you're going through. Luckily, I changed roles last year and couldn't be happier ...hang in there 4/15 is right around the corner!!!!!

I feel the same way. I'm an auditor at one of the big 4s and busy season for me hopefully ends in May unless I get pulled onto another year end. It has been a torturous 3 months working 70 hours a week even on weekends UGHHH I haven't even found my gown yet =/
