Vent about an ebay buyer

I put up an item at the end of April and it sold May 2. I put in my auction that payment is expected within 10 days of auction end.

I am a nice person and I try and give the buyer a little extra time in getting payment to me.

I sent the person a reminder email, and got nothing. Today is May 25 and I think I have been beyond patient and lenient and told the person that I am going to relist the item and she told me that I Suck as a seller and if I dare to leave negative feedback for her she'll post negative feedback for me.

She claimed to have emailed me 2 times and I deleted it. I told her I dont think so because I have a seperate email account for ebay and would have seen it. She said well she did and that my communication stinks and that i need to pay more attention to my emails.



So all I did was file a non paying bidder form and have to relist the item. I did learn my lesson I accept PAYPAL ONLY!

That stinks!!! I had the opposite problem! I ordered a wedding cape for my January wedding and used paypal and they NEVER sent it!!! I was so busy with the wedding and then went on my honeymoon so by the time I reported it I was SOL and am out $114.00 Paypal said I reported it too late as did my credit card

OMG that is horrible.

I think ebay should have a little bit of stricter rules.

I make sure to ship immediatly and I email the person that the item has been shipped, what form I used (media, priority, overnight, etc..) and when they can expect the item.

I tried but they pretty much said it's too late So if I didn't pay my credit card then my credit would be affected. To top it off the seller was selling through a charity for autistic children E-bay says they banned the seller. I will never use e-bay again and that stinks because I'm sure most people on there are honest

what were you trying to sell on ebay? something for weddings?

You should be able to forward that email to Ebay - FB extortion is not allowed.

I normally like ebay, but then their are a few people both buyers and sellers who ruin the place for others

I like ebay alot but the more stuff I sell, the more morons I encounter.

My best advice is to request in your posting that they specifically check out through ebay. This way there is proof that the buyer made contact. Also when you contact them first, always send the invoice through ebay as well. Again, to have a way to verify that you made contact. With your buyer, you know you didnt get an email but he or she obviously knows you can't prove it. Also with a buyer, if they dont respond with in a few days, always send the payment reminder that ebay offers. It can be so annoying. I currently have the following going on: a buyer who cant seem to understand how to send a debit card payment via Paypal. Another buyer who has yet to respond to an invoice or payment reminder and another buyer who sent me payment without calculating postage and now she's telling me the postage cost seems kind of high. I put in my post the weight of the package and the zip code where it is coming from so a bidder could calculate it BEFOREHAND since they know their own zip code but I guess this woman didn't think of it. Ay yi yi!

On the flipside, I've dealt alot of really nice people and got some great items myself too. Hang in there!

I just think the funny thing is she told me she lost her password to ebay yet was able to leave me negative feedback because I filed a Non Paying bidder on her.

Some people are just so funny.

Oh well. I have so many positives that I dont think one negative could do damage.
