Vent about MOM

So my mom was going camping this weekend, but when she saw the weather, she said that she was not going. So I asked her to go dress shopping with me this weekend. She was sopposed to call me early saturday morning... she never called so I called her and she said that she would be down in a little bit to meet me. She still didnt call~ Long story short, I didnt go shoping with out her and she went GROCERY shopping.
She then shows up around 5pm and wanted to see if we can re-schedule. I am just annoyed because she wanted to go, and then skipped out.

I'm sorry Kim..that really stinks..i know i would be annoyed at my mom if that happened to me also!! she's actually been annoying me..she keeps telling me its too early to get a dress..yet i almost have a year to go..

FH said maybe it is MOM stress. Like bride stress. Which maybe is possible.

aww, sorry this happened. is there someone else you can take with you next time? Or maybe you can tell her how important it is to you that she come with you.

i hear your frustration ... sometimes i wish my mom was a little bit more excited and involved with the whole process - its just not her nature to be overly excited, but still - i wish she was!!

I'm sorry. I know how you feel too.
I wish my Mom would make a lil effort to seem excited.
Do you have anyone else who could go with you? My older sister has been going with me so I don't have to go alone.

i'm sorry hun. my mom has been wierd with the dress thing too.
She's gone with me to a few places but when we're there she seems so uninterested and talks to other brides more than she talks to me!

Moms are wierd sometimes. Did she at least cook you dinner with all the groceries?
