Boo doesn't want to do anything wedding related. It is making us fight. He wanted to wait to have the wedding next year but my family and I said no. LOL So I don't know if he is acting out or what. I feel like I am doing everything myself. All he is doing is giving me money when I ask. Should I just leave him alone and do everthing myself. He still didn't give me a list of his guest or who is his groomsmen. YESSSS my wedding is in three months. I AM SO STRESS My BFF said she didn't really include her husband either but I am trying to make him feel included.
If you wondering if he will show up for the wedding, HE will if he know what is best for him No I am just kidding.

Re: VENT about my boo
I think that it is completely normal for FH not to be SUPER involved with the planning. Most guys aren't. However, I feel like he should be somewhat interested in what his wedding will be like. Some participation is definitely nice. Hey, at least he is handing over the money to get what you want though haha!

Re: VENT about my boo
I think you should figure out and settle the GM situation. Perhaps you can elaborate on how fun and important their role is and see if he runs with it. You need to 1) figure out what they're going to wear 2) ensure they're available to attend rehearsal and RD 3) sqaure away gifts 4) Best man speech / responsibilities 5) coupling up the BMs and the GMs.....
I mean with 12 weeks before your wedding I would really 'encourage' him to figure this all out!!!! Do you think he will have GM or just a best man???

I couldnt get fh to do anything wedding related either. Its really how men are. Its very rare to find a man who is as involved as we are. Its really not because he doesnt love you or care about the wedding.

Re: VENT about my boo
I think you need to have a heart to heart with him. Tell him you know he wanted the wedding further away, but tell him all the benefits of having it now. Then explain what you want of him. There are certain things that he HAS to do, like give a guest list and pick groomsmen, and get a tux. Everything else he doesn't need to be involved in if he really doesn't want. But really talk to him. If you feel like he's acting out because he wanted a later wedding, then you could be right. Ask him to be honest about how he feels about the wedding, and what's holding him back. This is the best time to start opening up communication. This is one event that you two have to manage, then there's a whole lifetime after that!

My finace is the same way... he tries to be as involved as he can be (he lives in England). But sometimes is frustrating because I do tons of research and he shoots all my ideas down :) But I really am glad he he wants to be involved... its such a help!

Re: VENT about my boo
Ladies, thank you so MUCH for your support and advice. This morning, I let out a GOOD STRESS OUT CRY, and wedding nerves, which made me feel better LOL. FH and I went on a date today to PF Chang, and talked. He still doesn't want to be involve with anything. But he said let him know where he can pick up the tux and he will be there. I am thinking, It might just be my seven girls, and he will have like three of his frat brothers. I wanted it even but, whatever. I wanted a unique wedding I guess I got one
