Vent about work bathrooms...

I've been working in my building for nearly 3 years and these people baffle me. Do you all deal with this stuff too???

1 - Why must people talk on their cell in the stall? Or by the sink? Go anywhere else, I don't care where, just don't talk in the bathroom.

2 - Why would you bring your food into the ladies room? EVER?

3 - Who takes the time to unscrew the toilet seat from where it belongs? Beyond that, where are the screws? Did you need them that badly? Here's $5 for screws - leave the stupid seat where it is.

4 - Whose footprint is that anyway on the seat?

5 - We have sinks with working drains - yet the water is all over the counter and on the floor

6 - Flush. With your hand, hand wrapped in toilet paper, foot, I don't care. Just flush.

Okay, I feel better - thanks!

We have people that are in there reading on the toliet.

And people that poop when other people are in there.

People that don't even bother to wash their hand.

OMG - since I have been back from my HM there are been foot prints on the seat- I have been begging to get it cleaned

a few months ago someone left her bra hanging in the bathroom

a few weeks ago there was PEE on the floor

and not too long ago there was BLOOD on the floor!

LADIES!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! we're supposed to be the neater/cleaner sex

Oh brother do I feel BETTER about my bathroom at work. Geez. FOOTPRINTS on the TOILET SEAT YUCK!

You win for worst work bathroom!!

I hate the bathroom at work for many reason. First, the doors don't lock so someone is always pushing open a stall with someone doing their thing. Second, the hot water goes off when someone anywhere in the building flushes. This means no hot water when washing. Third, people do not clean up after themselves. From tp on the floor, pee on the seat, water and soap all over the counters, bad smells when there is plenty of air freshener around, hair in the sink...it's gross.

Thanks for allowing me to get this out!

i'm lucky..bathroom is not bad and there is a shower room with a toilet that we use when we need to do our thing in private.

I have been in some bathrooms that are hideous..

Pooping is a natural thing and sometimes you can't hold it in..in that case I sawy flush, flush and flush again if needed.

We have the mad pooper on our floor. That's right, it's left in the toilet w/out TP all the time. No one knows when she'll strike next.

Oddly, last week there was a string cheese wrapper on one of the TP dispensers.

Dane Cook (on Comedy Central) does a whole thing about this, it is too funny

I work for NS-LIJ - in a small center - someone comes in every morning to clean the bathrooms, and they are immaculate! thank god!!!

I work in a law firm. The ladies room is not so bad here, except that we have one stall that is frequently out of order (some of us think that Moaning Myrtle haunts it).

The real winner though is the men's room on our floor. There is one lawyer who takes files out of the file room and spreads them out on the floor around the stall for him to peruse while he's in there.

Did I mention I work in the file room??? EWWWW

Even better, she admitted to it, said she had an accident. The whole Agency knew about it. How embarassing. It happened 5 years ago and people still talk about it.

I work at a law firm and our bathrooms are not the greatest. The toilets clog a lot and even when they work, some people don't flush. Several e-mails have been sent to the whole firm complaining about the cleanliness problems in the bathroom. Part of the problem is the building is poorly managed and the other part is that some people don't know how/or care to flush.
Maybe it's just me, but I also find it strange to walk into the bathroom and see people brushing their teeth. It's bad enough that a bunch of the secretaries do their hair and make-up in the morning (while they're on the clock), but do people have to brush their teeth too?

A new one -- the tip of a cigarrette on the floor in the stall. Not the whole cigarrette - just an inch of it.

Why are people so gross?

Hmmm, if you're on your period and have decided to poo...please, please, please flush!! Yes, we have automatic toilets, but clearly all the bio-hazard waste you just deposit needs a little 'push' - nasty pig.
