Vent about your annoying co-worker here

There's this girl at work - kind of newish - that I've written about before. She was the one who didn't give me back my change when she offered to order my lunch while I held our seats.

Anyway, we had a departmental outing last night and I found myself sitting next to her in the bar. She was asking me about NY vs London and what our plans were as far as going back. I mentioned that I would like to head back to NY in about two years or so. So she said So, you'll be in this job until you go back to NY. I tried to politely re-emphasize that we have no set plans and I'm not sure what will happen exactly, but that I would like to be in NY and close to my family when we decide to settle donw and have children. So she said Well, how old are you. I told her I would be 29 in September and she made a face - almost like this but hard to describe, but it seemed to me that she was thinking Well, you're no spring chicken I was just like WHAT? and she said oh, nothing, it's just that I thought you were much younger, like 25 or something. But it wasnt' exactly what she said, but the way she said it, as if implying that I didn't have all that much time to have a baby. I told her that I would really like to have a baby, but not tomorrow! and then a little later on she mentioned how I wouldn't be able to work after I have a baby...

I was just so freaked out by this girl...who's got to be my age at least, or a little older...I guess maybe she's socially awkward or something, but in the space of a 20 minute conversation, almost everything that came out of her mouth managed to be alternatively inappropriate, degrading or offensive!!!! - or all three!!! We're not friends and to be frank, none of that is any of her business!!!

This isn't my first encounter with her, there have been several other 'incidents' but I'm finding it increasingly harder to be gracious!

It sounds like she just has no clue and absolutely no social skills.



If I were you I would try to stay away from her and share no personal information with her at all.

Well, I have a coworker I had to report because she kept making anti semitic remarks. The worst part is, her son-in-law is Jewish and I don't even think she knows what she says is offensive.

i work with a loud mouth all day shes on the phone and everyone knows her business because of this.

i know she slept with a guy and she fell for him but after they ya know he dumped her. I think he was married. he told her that his ex wife was trying to get back with him. LOL she is so stupid. and now she is trying to do the dating online thing and she met someone and all she is concerned with is how much $$$$ he makes.

then she makes these wierd phone calls to her 91 year old grandma which she talks to like a baby the whole time.

and about how she is sharing a fire island home this summer and she also made out with someone at a bar that she didnt even like.

i guess it is a bit entertaining at times but she has to stop or i am going to throw a brick at her head......

Um, ok I think you work with my boss's twin....my boss does the same crap & to make it worse, she does it with guys who work here. She is ridiculous & does no work all day...why? Because she is friggin prancing around the office showing off her slut-ware.



Oh and Farah - give that girl a smack...who the he!! is she to even ask you that stuff, nevermind make judgements. What a loser.
