I don't think you're overreacting. I'd be annoyed too. Your BMs were interested in the details of your wedding, not hers. If she just got engaged, she could still be in that super excited phase where just about everything that comes out of her mouth has to do with the wedding. Hopefully it will pass and she will be more considerate.

That sounds frustrating. Do you think she knows that she is doing it? I am sure that she is just excited about her wedding. Even so, you may want to talk to her about it so that it doesn't continue.

You're not overreacting, I would feel hurt too. There is plenty of spotlight for her, there is no reason for her to take away yours during YOUR time.

I would speak to her about it and get it out in the open. Maybe she doesn't realize that she is being a total spotlight hog. Geez! If you think you can let it go for now, that's fine but if it happens again, I would definitely say something.

Thanks Just venting about it makes me feel a little better - maybe she will chill out after a few more months. Hopefully or she will drive me cuckoo! If she keeps it up I will definitely say something - besides the fact that interrupting people is rude in general

I agree with Brooke that she's probably just in her 'my wedding my wedding my wedding' phase of the engagement. She'll cool it down, but if she doesn't chill out in the next few months then definitely speak with her.

Some people are just so selfish and love to hear themselves talk!!! Someone should put her in her place!! Don't let anyone take away from your day though, even someone like that!
