VENT!! Bridal Suite of Patchogue
Ok...I know I heard this from many of the ladies on here however now I can officially say...
I HATE BRIDAL SUITE OF PATCHOGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, had to get that out. I had scheduled my final fitting for this afternoon at 2:00. I even called yesterday to confirm and to see if they could steam and press the dress and slip for me after so I could take them home today. This way my Mom could bring it back to her place. Sounds good so far, right??
I left my apartment about 1:45 and headed over. The mood was very happy and excited in the car. I had had a few run ins with the atore owner and emplyees before, but my last 2 experiences have been fine.
I walk in and they escort me to the back area where the brides go. I am now prepared to wait a bit because they have some crazy policy of waiting for you to arrive before doing your alterations. (I found out that one the hard way....another story in itself). As I'm sitting there getting even more excited (did I mention the wedding is in 9 days?) 3 different people come out to ask me my name. Still not worried, becuase as I said before I am very excited.
Then a woman comes out and says that my appointment was cancelled. I tell her that no one called to cancel. She then tells me that my dress is not ready and then starts to walk away. I told her about the last time I had to wait so the seamstress can start working on it now since I am here and I will wait. She goes back in to the hole where they apparently do the work and then comes out sying she was told they can't do it. I ask to speak with Bea (the manager who never seems to be around) and wouldn't you know...SHE'S NOT THERE!!! AT that point I just started ranting about how this place doesn't know how to conduct business and a bunch of other things I can't remember right now. This poor woman goes back into the hole and returns with this little nugget ' It'll be ready in 3 hours' I ask her if it will steamed and pressed and cleaned for me also and she says yes. While I am ranting and raving she tells me that I should absilutely tell the owner how I feel becuase she has apparently had it as well. They have lost about 5 employees so far and she thinks she might be next.
1 more hour to go before I head back. I realize this will probably get pulled on account of how negative this review is, but I had to vent someone and if I can stop at least 1 unsuspecting bride from losing her mind I will be satisfied.
