Vent- Bridesmaids make me crazy!!!

Does anyone have 'good' bridesmaids? I have 2.5- 2 that live 2,000 or more miles away and my FSIL- who is always saying that she will help- but doesn't call me or seem particularly interested in actually helping- plus we are COMPLETE opposites.

They are complaining that I haven't picked a dress yet- but none of them will help me. We went shopping once for about an hour and didn't find anything that everyone liked. Having them pick their own isn't an option. The only thing I'm asking of them is to wear the same dress.

My own sister won't give me an hour of her time to try on the 2 final choices for BM dress (that I found when I went BY MYSELF to try on dresses to pick so I wouldn't have to bother them).

Vent over- I should've just used ringbearers and flowergirls.

I'm sorry you're stressed. What about finding pics online and e-mailing them and once you have a few they all agree on, go try them on and do it that way. This way you spend the actual time trying ont he ones they all agree on.

I tried that- one says that I need to just make up my mind (I'm not the one wearing it!) and stop sending dresses (she also responded that she loved the dress I love- then when I brought it up a few days later she said 'I don't like it-but its your wedding...' WHAT?!?!?!), one has no email, one never checks her email- even when I tell her to.

I have the most diverse bridal party ever- no one is friends with any others.

I'm ready to pick the dress I liked best on myself and make them order it...if they don't like it its their own problem. I was trying to please everyone and I'm quickly learning that it doesn;t work.


Also- one of my BMs cannot fit into sample sizes so it doesn't matter what I pick I guess because we won't know how it looks til we get it in in her size...

I'm sorry to hear about your BM problems--I think plenty are in the same boat.

Since they are not so helpful, you should go and pick out a dress and just make them order it. It's tough if they don't like it since they have not been so receptive to you otherwise.

If i were you I would pick 2-3 dresses at one shop that you like and then invite all the girls to come and try it on. The final decision is yours - you are the after all.
