VENT Delegation has begun...

my wedding is coming

the only thing i've done is hall, officiant, HM, and dress I got the basics down LOL but not the details. FH doesn't think we need a planner but I think it warrants it at this point. what do you guys think?

whoooops, sorry I forgot I did book the photog and videog. so overwhelmed I forgot them, sorry boys!

I just emailed my invite lady a few minutes ago. But I still don't have final guest list from mom or FH.

I was going to say......

This is my advice, make a list, you have to. Then just go one by one and cross them off. This is what I did and when I felt super-overwhelmed I just had to stop and breathe and instead of trying to wrap my head around the 100 things I had left to do and crying and running away (which I did) I just picked one, did it, and crossed it off. Before you know it, your list will be smaller and more manageable.

But def. get that guest list. Give your parents an absolute deadline date and tell them if you don't get the names by then, they will not receive an invitation.

I just did one task a week.....I've had a really great..stress free wedding planning!!! Every other bride hates me though because of it!!
I started really early...Now Im at the point...Ok what is there left to do????

the one task a week thing sounds great. I'll try to make a goal of like 5 since I'm cutting it so close. That sounds ok right ?

Definitely start looking for a florist and maybe start delegating to your bridal party?

i dont even know what kind of flowers i want yet. the BP is wearing champagne & MOHs are wearing champagne and black.

Fh is so positive about the wedding. he says everything is going to be wonderful.

I can't even fit on this page everything they have done, but just to give you another example one brother booked his wedding for 3 weeks after ours. they didn't even tell us or ask us when we'll be back from HM. i just found this out at a party on sunday from a cousin that went over and asked them. so i'm assuming we're not even invited (not that i want to be, but damn, how spiteful are they??) but i have to keep it as if we are going b/c if we don't go and are invited we'll be the 'bad guys'

Your FH sounds like a great guy. Keeping things positive. I'm SO sorry you're dealing with this but your wedding day will be beautiful.

Plus, we're date twins!!!!

breathe and try to relax, i would first make of list of what need to get done, then take 1 thing a time based on what on what need to to get done asap...and so on....
if the list is really out of control then get a planner to help, this is supposed to be a good time for you and dont need the extra stress, so it may be worth it for you
cheer up and we will all help you through this
