I got a call last night from FMIL about the eparty.
She tells me that she talked to the DJ and asked to him to play a certain song for her an FH to dance to - she wanted to make sure he had it since its not a common song. And basically she told me incase I wanted to do that w/ my dad.
So my response was 'well i didnt think this party was supposed to be so formal where we are doing special dances'
And she says 'oh no, its not like i will have the DJ announce it - but he will just play the song at some point and we will dance to it.'
arg why cant these moments be saved for the WEDDING?!?!?
Its not like I am saying 'dont dance w/ your son' but its the process of making a production about it thats getting under my skin.
I finally said 'well my dad isnt much of a dancer so we probably wont do it' LOL

Is this a song that she plans on dancing with FH at the actual wedding? Because then that's a little weird.

I dont think so - but its so strange b/c she has been struggling with which song to dance to with FH as the wedding but this song she picked out no problem!?!?! LOL just use it for the wedding!!!!
And - it's a wonderful world - is not an uncommon song lol
