VENT-I'm gonna get all BRIDEZILLA on the best man's A--

So our unemployed BM... (don't feel sorry for him, he never worked regularly) who has sat on his a$$ for three months completely unemployed, not a dime coming in is visiting a long lost friend down in FL for the last few weeks, has done nothing to plan FH's bachelor party (my brother is taking over) and HAS NOT ORDERED HIS FR!@#$NG TUX YET!!!

My brother (who is a major procrastinator, buy X-mas presents on X-mas eve) called in his measurements on Monday and the BM hasn't.

The person who has nothing but free time hasn't gone yet. I have 70 6 page, all essay College Eco finals that I have to grade TODAY and a wedding 17 days from now...

OMG! That is horrible!!! I would kill!!!

i feel your pain!! it will all be ok, try to relax and enjoy the days leading up to the wedding as much as possible!

Thanks Girls, I e-mailed FH about this and he got on it right away. The BM says he went to get fitted. He may not have left a deposit (never has any money because when he does work for low pay he eats out everyday, buys guitars etc., when as my Grandmother would say, 'He doesn't have a pot to pi$$ in'. Yes, she used to say that ) so that might be the reason why. I don't know, it's FH's problem now.

I e-mailed my usual-dead-beat brother. He said he'll take over the bachelor party and everything will be arranged by 5 pm today. My brother can't clean a bathroom but he can arrange a bachelor party

OK back to grading these exams...

I understand....when my parents got married their BM was my father's brother...(who we no longer speak to for so many reasons)
I'll call him W...because he is no uncle to me.
W told the other guys in the bridal party that he has no $$ to through my father a bachlor party. So my mom's brothers and some close friends planned the party. The Party was the day before the wedding. That afternoon W called my dad to say that he needs to get fitted for his tux and has no car...so my father missed the 1st half of his own bachlor party to take W to get his Tux...and to boot he didnt have the money to pay for the tux..so my dad had to pay for it, but my father didnt have enough $$ to also pay for the shoes so W who was the best man wore an old pair of brown dirty loafers.

My dad says all the time he should have choosen one of my mother's brother's to be the best man...since they have always been more a brother to him than his own blood. He mentions this all the time to us now...since we are planning our wedding...he keeps telling us to only have people in the party that we know will always be there...so that when we look at pictures we dont want to scratch out the BM.

Trust me. My brother is usually no prize either. He's 32 and hasn't had a girlfriend in 7 years because he's just such a disaster. BM is even more of a disaster but he's all FH has.

FH was married once before and is 36. Trust me girls, guys looooose all of their friends when divorced because usually it's the woman in each couple who actively keeps up the friendships. He lost his BF of 20+ years because his ex-BF's wife has A LOT of issues and can't get passed it that FH is with me. I could understand if ex-BF's wife was still good friends with FH's ex-wife but the ex moved out of state and they haven't spoken or seen each other in 3 years. She needs to get over it and let the guys be friends. She doesn't have to be friends with me.

Also a lot of people have kids, have moved away and they never thought to invite FH over when having a barbecue etc. Why? Because he's wasn't married and was single

People are weird. I could write a book on BM and Dr. Phil and Oprah would have to devote an entire season to him... he is a financial and emotional mess. FH tries to help him but he is beyond.

Oh, and FH is paying for his tux as his gift. Nice $150. gift and he hasn't done a blessed thing. I don't trust him to tip vendors day of either. I'm giving all of my envelopes to my FBIL who I'm just starting to get to know because I trust him more.

WHAT A LOSER!!!! I would be losing it. Hang in there, Theresa- its almost over

Hello, why is his unemployed A$$ on vacation and I'm here grading College Economics final exams until 11 pm last night and then from 7:30 am until now today? and my wedding is 17 days away.

If being unemployed and not even looking for work is so stressful that you need a vacation, what about people who work 70+ hours a week... they should be able to take years off.

This is FH's only friend and he is a LOSER!!

Oh wait...

#3. my cousin who makes $$$$$$$ who just sent me what I think is supposed to be a wedding gift to cover him and his wife. It covers 1/2 a plate. This is the one my Dad made the $$$$$$$ custom made wall unit for many years ago when he got married.

4. My cousin's wives... who all rsvp'ed yes to my shower and then all cancelled ON THE SAME DAY... just three days before.

At this rate... I'll be sending 2 Christmas cards out this year
