vent- IRS
I just had to vent since there's no one home for me to complain to. So a few years ago I recieved a community service grant since I did a teaching fellowship and am a special ed teacher. So I used this money (almost 4000) to put towards my undergrad loans. I forgot to file this with my taxes last year and now they sent me a notice that I owe 1200 in taxes!!!! Not only that, but since I am late sending back the paperwork (honestly I just put it off), I am going to have to pay fines and interest!!!!! I am so upset about this, I am a teacher working in NYC, like I have 1200 laying around! And the grant money I put towards LOANS it's not like I went out on a shopping spree!!!!! Seriously sometimes I feel like we live in a communist country where EVERYTHING goes to the government!!! I am so frustrated rightn ow!!!!!!![]()
