Vent (long)

We are just at the end of our attorney review period (we are buying in Jersey) and of course there is a glitch. Apparently the listing agent failed to state that the sewer connection was not entirely paid for and seller feels that we as the buyer should absorb this cost.

FH and I feel that since we already made a generous offer and seller had the set to tell us that she did not want to be nickle and dimed on the inspection that this should be something the seller pays for, since her agent was the one who made the mistake in not mentioning it in the first place.

FH has a tendency of making a mountain out of a molehill and just called me up to vent at me. I'm just so tired of this whole process... we are 3 months from the wedding and I should be focusing my attentions on that; but instead I need to deal with this. It's bad enough that we will probably be too strapped after getting into the house to go on a honeymoon.

Buying a house and planning a wedding at the same time is very stressful! My FH and I will be getting married and closing on our house all in August and we have had arguments and have vented at each other too. It all works out in the end!!

Where in NJ...we live in NJ too!

we'll be in Roxbury, by Lake Hopatcong. I thought my commute to NYC was bad now.
