vent- MOM

Ok here i go, Well i do alot for my mom, i pay the bills (with her money though) go to the card store to play her numbers, i go to the supermarket to pick up her cookies inge. when she need she needs them and i never say a word. Also i dont ask for the money back either. Well yesterday she asked me if i can order her checks offline from the bank, i told her yes, and then late last night my sister asked me and then she said she will do it. So she did well this am i get up and i get yelled at. You didnt order me checks , i was like chris was suppose to do and then she starts at it, you dont do anything around here, etc... i was like when i get to work ill do it and then she was like please dont do me any favors. So i was like fine i wont. Well I had an egagement party and my mom didnt give us anything and what really gets me mad is she gave my brother and sister 6,000 for there wedding and we are getting nothing. It get me upset b/c of all the stuff i do for her and i get nothing in return. Like last xmas everyone of my brothers and sisters got $400, and what did i get well $100. I feel like im the baby and i get nothing. I really think my rents hate me and im the step child......

Ok vent over, sorry

aww im sorry

your parents dont hate you! im sure your mom doesnt mean to say or do the things she does. i would sit down with her when you both are in good moods and explain to her how you feel. id explain that you feel taken for granted, and that nothing you do is recognized. and also ask why she was so generous to your siblings and not to you.

she probably doesnt realize you feel this way, so once you tell her maybe things will change.

aww, i am so sorry you are feeling like this. i am sure your mom is just under some stress. things will get better. i am sure your parents don't love you any less, maybe they just want to hold on to their baby, so thats why they baby you...

I really think you should talk to her about it because it could be two things, maybe she doesn't have the money to give you guys but, she had it when your brother was getting married. It could also be that she has favorites and I would hate for that to be the case.
But, there is no reason for her to be ungrateful for all the things that you do take care of for her. She should show some appreciation but, maybe she was having a really bad morning and took it out on you.
Talk to her and see what her reason is.

Talk 2 her, my friend was in a similar situation as u, n she was too intimadated to tell her mom how she felt to her face so she wrote her a letter and it turned out that her mom had no idea how she was feeling.

Awww..I'm sorry...but I think this is so much more common than anyone wants to admit.

My sister is the princess and had everything handed her to her on a silver platter. she didn't work a day in her life until after she graduated from college, but had a designer wardrobe beginning in high school. (And let's not even talk about her wedding!!! LOL)

My brother worked since he was 16, but my parents bought him at least 3 cars until he got a full time job.

Both bro and sis lived at home and had all their laundry done, and meals cooked till they got married.

And then there's me...been working since I was 15. I paid for my own braces, bought my own car, lived on my own since I was 22...

I think it just happens
