VENT: my mother

i am seething right now, my hands are shaking! i just need to let this out.

i had a big row with my mom because we were talking about my brother. i told her how disappointed, etc i am about him and she completely changed the conversation by saying i was disrespectful to her by my way of talking about him! and then it spiraled about how she has disappointments in me, blah, blah. i was talking about my freakin' bro! how could she change the conversation to her?!?!?

now it ended with her saying - you got my money, you have your wedding gift that's why you and your fiance could have that attitude towards me and then she hang up!!!

O.M.G. she DID give a generous amount but when she said that, i called her back and left a message on her vm saying - i do NOT NEED YOUR MONEY and told her that if she's going to always put that in my face that she gave me money, i'm giving it back right then and there!

do what i do. Dont give her the power. Ignore her for a while and when she calls you, say, are you going to act like my mother or should I hang up now? lol
