Vent: My shower is adding to my stress level

I was so happy that I got 2 things off my registery deliver last night from people who cant make it in march (who doesnt love gifts). I was so happy I called my grandma and and aunt and said I got gifts they both tell me they got me gifts not off my registery. Why cant people follow simple things. I put on my registry wine glases and cups for like 20 dollars so noone had to spend and arm or leg. My moh said her mother went to macys and got me something not off the registry as well.FH and I have all new stuff from when he moved into my apt less than a 1 year and half ago. I dont need junk and I hate clutter. We have already out grown my apt and plan on moving to a bigger place. It took me forever to make a registry because I dont need anything. Everything I just buy myself but my bm insisted on a shower and now people cant even stick to the registry. Im hoping for receipts because if I dont need it its going back. Stuff my engagement party was already given away because we have to much in storage and it was stuff I did not need and had no receipts .I dont even really need the stuff on my registry all that much I just figured upgrade.

I know there are bigger problems in life but I would 7 days a week and I had to take off a day to have my shower as it was when I did not want one in the first place. Now I have to take a day off to return stuff because I have no use for it. Its just adding to my stress level.
