VENT-NWR

UGH...just have to vent for a minute! (well its long...)

So in May I put my school loans on forbearance since I lost my job. Apparently they never contacted me to tell me that I was denied this (and the reason I was denied was because I always paid more then I was supposed to, and therefor had some credit towards a few months...what?!?!?). So today I get a thing from Free credit report.com that I had a negative thing on my report. I am anal about my credit, so I log on asap, and find out that they put 8 (yes 8) things on my report (one for each of the semester loans I took out) saying I was 60 days late with payments (mind you it is all one consolidated loan). I called them and asked why I would have not gotten a notice or a call that I had anything due, or why I would not have gotten a notice saying my request was denied, and they told me it was my fault, and I should have called to see if I had any money owed to them.

Well there goes my perfect credit for the upcoming house hunting...OMG, I cant deal anymore!!!

Sorry for the vent, but you gals always make me feel better....

Im just mad b/c i have been so vigillant in keeping it great knowing we were going to buy a house after the wedding...It is bad enough that I took a job making $36,000 less then what I was making before (just so that I had something coming in), and my FH lost his job and is doing off the books consulting...gggrrr...looks like I will be staying in our small *** house for another few years!
