vent!! NWR! i hate teenage boys!! ****update- dropped him off at train station . . . ****

FH's 18 year old brother is down visiting us (we live in PA, he lives in NY) and hes sooo annoying. first of all hes sleeping on the couch, ok fine, we have a one bedroom apt, so thats the only place for him, but does he have to sleep till noon everyday??? then this morning we're ordering take out from the diner at 12:30 and i'm like give me ur order in 5 mins, cause i'm calling it in. i leave the menu with him, come back and hes sleeping!!! so i'm like ok i'm calling, i tell the waiter what fh and i want then i look at Fh's lil bro and hes like uhh uhh, I'm like Mike, what do u want???? so he finally says something. then i go to the diner and pick up the food since FH's foot is sprained, and comeback. u think the kid would say thank you?? nope of course not. then i had to remind him to clean up his area at the table. wait it gets better, i go to the train station before the ticket booth closes to buy his train ticket home, and i come back and explain to him what he needs to do once he gets to penn station. since hes playing video games he totally ignores me, then says ur going to have to write that down. i say um no, u should have paid attention when i was talking and walked away. i can't wait till he gets on that train at 8:25 tonight!!

***UPDATE***
I just dropped him off at the train station and he bought a paper and pen with him and asked me to PLEASE tell him what to do when he gets to Penn. station he wrote it down then the train came and and he said thanks for everything this weekend i had a good time staying with u guys and then he gave me a hug. i guess this is what its like to a have a little brother. i only have sisters.

Don't take it personally. He really doesn't mean to be a PITA - at least I don't think so, but then again he is 18 and a boy soooo

thats what i'm saying. ok if he was 13 or 14 i'd excpect this, but hes not. hes 18!! i think the problem his mother lets him get away with cr@p so i guess he thinks i'll let it fly too. nope sorry not in my house!!

I love it, it sounds like my 28 yr old brother!!!

He's 18 and a boy. Next time expect that he will be this way and maybe it won't bother you so much. Unfortunatley people are who they are, that being said. You almost made it, he's almost gone.
